diaper cakes are created with a "less is more" philosophy. They’re not
padded on the inside or outside with extra fluff (i.e. face towels,
stuffed animals or shredded paper "icing." Most of all, Delectable
Diaper Cakes look like... real cakes. Good enough to eat (but not
recommended).

Q: What are your hours of operation?

Q: What is a diaper cake?
A: Diaper
Cake is an arrangement of (unused), and usually disposable diapers
that
are styled and decorated to resemble the look and shape of an edible
cake.
Q: What makes a Delectable Diaper Cake so special?
A: Each beautiful Delectable Diaper Cake is made with the finest baby
friendly, earth friendlier ingredients. There are two different brands
of diaper to choose from. Both are chlorine-free, latex-free,
fragrance-free, and hypo-allergenic disposable diapers.
Q: What kind of diapers do you use to make your diaper cakes?
A: We only use the highest quality, baby-friendly and eco-friendlier disposable diapers… Seventh Generation, which are beige and Earths Best, which are white. Both brands are chlorine-free, latex-free, and fragrance-free. Yes, your average brand name diaper contains those things.
Q: How are your cakes held together?
A: By magic and the will of The Baker of course. No. We use a very secure method for constructing our diaper cakes, with very little adhesive making contact with the actual diapers. With a gentle hand, your Delectable Diaper Cake can be dismantled. All of the diapers should be usable.
Q: Are your diaper cakes pre-made or massed produced?
A: There are a selection of Delectable Diaper Cakes in The Bakery, which have already been baked and are ready to be delivered. These diaper cakes are custom-made pieces, created individually, and styled by The Baker. We do not make large batches of the exact same cakes. If you see a style you like, it can be duplicated provided stock availability. Should you decide to order a couture diaper cake that you design, each aspect of your cake will be tailor made and given the name of your choosing. Like children, some may look similar, but each one is unique.
Q: How long will it take for my Delectable Diaper Cake to arrive?
A: Please allow up to 3 business days for your diaper cake to be made (although most are created faster). You will receive an email confirmation of your order once it has been placed, and another when your diaper cake ships. Delectable Diaper Cakes ship from Atlanta, GA, via UPS Ground and take 1-5 business days to arrive (from the day we ship them) depending on your location. Click here to see a map of estimated times in transit). Cakes delivered to an address within the state of Georgia will be charged 8% sales tax.
Q: What if I need my Delectable Diaper Cake shipped ASAP?
A: Express shipping is available through UPS and for an additional $10 we offer expedited handling. Expedited handling gets your order to the front of the line, baked that day/night and shipped the same or next business day.
Q: What methods of payment do you accept?
A: You can pay for your Delectable Diaper Cake with VISA, MasterCard, American Express, Discover and PayPal via the safe and trusted PayPal check-out system. You do not need a PayPal account to order. When you are ready to check out, you will be given the option on the left side of the page to pay with your credit card. On the right side of the page you will have the option to log on to and pay with your PayPal account. The choice is yours.
Q: How can I check the status of my order?
A: UPS tracking number will be emailed to you directly from UPS once your order has shipped. To track your order, copy the tracking number in the email, then click on the "UPS.com" link. It will take you to the UPS home page. Paste or enter your tracking number and follow the instructions.
Q: I live in Atlanta. Can I pick up my Delectable Diaper Cake to save on shipping?
A: We prefer to ship your diaper cake to you. All of Georgia is a 1-day shipping zone and your diaper cake should arrive the day after we ship it out.
Q: Can my diaper cake be gift-wrapped?
A: All of our diaper cakes arrive gift-wrapped in beautiful white or antique white tulle, tied with ribbon and ready to be received. All at no addition charge.
Q: What is your return policy?
A: Each Delectable Diaper Cake, is created by human hands and may be subject to a slight imperfection or two. Otherwise, each cake will live up to it’s expectation of elegance, practicality, and usefulness. If you find that your diaper cake is defective (not due to damage during shipping) we offer our customers the opportunity to exchange it for a new Delectable Diaper Cake. All shipping is the responsibility of the customer. We do not accept returns.
In the unlikely event that your diaper cake does not reach you in excellent condition, please notify our customer service department within 48 hours of receipt or use the form on the "Contact Us" page. Diaper Cakes that are refused upon delivery are subject to a 20% restocking fee, after shipping cost. We make every effort to contact our customers by phone AND email if there is an issue with their order. If we are unable to make contact with the customer, the order is considered abandoned, and returned to The Delectable Diaper Cake Bakery. In this instance, a 20% restocking fee is charged after a period of 10 business days. All shipping is the responsibility of the customer.
Q: Will my choice of diapers affect my diaper cake's appearance? A: Yes! Seventh Generation diapers are beige and Earths Best diapers are white. Which one you choose is all down to personal tastes (pun intended).
